Here at Bead Chroma, we offer a wide range of classes designed to teach you the art of jewelry making. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artisan, our classes cover numerous techniques and projects tailored to all different skill levels. You can book private sessions with Leah for personalized instruction or join any number of group classes, providing a fun and collaborative learning environment for everyone. Join us and discover the joy of creating beautiful, handmade jewelry!
• Intro Classes: This is the perfect class for those who've never made any jewelry before and don't know quite where to start. Leah will chat with you to get a sense of what you'd like to learn, offering suggestions along the way. Basic stringing and simple earrings are always a great place to start though, and they provide some great foundational techniques that you'll use forever! This class can be private if you'd like (see "Private Classes" below) or you may be sitting at the beading table with other newbies looking to learn alongside you! Note: Unless you specify that you want the class to be private, Leah will add it to the class calendar and see about having others join in, too.
• Private Classes: $25/hour booked in advanced for one-on-one instruction. Just you, me (Leah), and your creativity and willingness to learn. Let's focus on a project or technique together, or trouble-shoot something you're working on, without the distraction of other students. It'll just be the two of us and we'll focus and get some good stuff accomplished!
• Private Group Classes: Great for groups of friends who want to let loose among their familiars and get creative! This class option is just for you and your pals - feel free to bring snacks and wine if you like! Pricing varies depending on class length, project skill-level, and if it's an after-hours class or during regular business hours. Reach out to Leah to talk through options!
• Potluck "U.F.O." Days: This is an (almost) monthly occurrence here at Bead Chroma! Dig up something to bring and bead (an Un-Finished Object perhaps, or just whatever you'd like to work on!) and come hangout for the afternoon here in the shop sharing yummy apps and desserts with fellow artisans. This is a FREE event, but does require registration as space is limited. Check out the calendar to see when the next one is coming up!
• Open Group Classes: These are classes where single students or smaller groups of friends (who are open to meeting new beady people in class) can get together and learn something new! Pricing varies depending on class length, project skill-level, and if it's an after-hours class or during regular business hours. Play with beads and perhaps make some friends! What could be better?
